A two-disc special edition of WATERWORLD containing a 176-minute extended cut? Who is the audience for this? Who are the hardcore WATERWORLD fans out there clamoring for more? I'd rather an extended cut of THE POSTMAN, at least it had some interesting ideas in it. The only thing that could ever get me interested in watching a longer version of WATERWORLD would be the promise it explains why is it that in a world completely covered in water everyone looks like they're in dire need of a bath.

OMFG I'm so pumped for this! I'll be first in line to get this puppy. Been waiting a long time for some kinda extended, deluxe edition. Hoping for some good material.

Not planning on buying this though.

I too don't get the hate for this movie. I recall hearing alot about how truncated the original release is so I'm eager to see this extended cut. I'll definitely be purchasing this.
