"Attention! Attention! Ladies and gentlemen, attention! There is a herd of killer rabbits headed this way and we desperately need your help!"

If you've never seen NIGHT OF THE LEPUS, the infamous 1972 bad movie classic with Janet Leigh, DeForrest Kelly, Stuart Whitman, Paul Fix, and Rory Calhoun being terrorized giant mutant bunny rabbits then tune in or set your VCRs or DVD recorders or your Tivo - whatever you have to do - when Turner Classic Movies unleashes NIGHT OF THE LEPUS uncut and uninterrupted tonight (technically Saturday morning) at 2:15 AM EST, 1:15 Central. If ever there was a film that's a must see for fans of schlock cinema its the movie where cute bunnies are given the Bert I. Gordon treatment in a misguided attempt to make them appear to be bigger, badder, and scarier.

Speaking of Bert I Gordon, following LEPUS at 4/3 AM is Mr. B.I.G.'s 1958 oddity ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE about a lonely doll dollmaker who enters into mad scientist territory by creating a machine that shrinks people down to only a few inches tall, which he then uses on some unsuspecting individuals that he then holds hostage to entertain him and ease his loneliness.
